How to Activate Your Intuition and Let it Lead Your Life


Intuition is such a powerful tool. I honestly believe it is our superpower! It is governed by the subconscious mind which makes up about 90% of our brain function.

Yes, 90%!! Which means that most of the time we make all of our decisions using only 10% of our brain.

And not taking into account all that the subconscious has stored from our past experience and all the things it picked up on without us being even aware of it!

That is why learning how to access and use our intuition can really be the best investment we make to create a life we love.

But most of us are disconnected from it, we don’t know how to access it and use it to support us in our daily lives and decisions.

Here are 4 key things to keep in mind to access your intuition:

  1. Get still & meditate

    You must find stillness in order to access your inner wisdom and hear the messages your intuition is sending you. Your intuition is always trying to guide you and give you insights, it’s its job! But you can’t always hear it when you are stuck in your mind and buy into your mental dialogue. There is too much noise and chatter and you easily confuse thoughts with intuition.

    That is why you may often make decisions out of fear or conditioning.

    But by finding stillness through meditation, you can start accessing your intuition.

  2. Journal

    Journaling is a wonderful tool to help you process your feelings and emotions. You can write down freely all that is going on in your life and in your head. Which leaves more space for intuition to come through. And you may find that you are guided to write exactly what you need.

    You can practice this, by asking a question before your meditation, and writing in flow once you are done. Just write whatever comes to and through you. These are often key messages your intuition is trying to send you.

  3. Nourish your body

    You body is a beautiful tool to help you access your inner wisdom. It is a vessel for your soul, it is sacred and precious. You only have one so you must nourish it and take care of it. When your body is healthy and thriving, it will be your best friend and support you. It will allow your intuition to speak through it, thanks to your bodily sensations.

  4. Commit to your practice

    This is key. You must commit to your practice, daily. Whether you choose to meditate, to journal, to go outside in nature or something else, it is important to be committed to your practice in order to see any kind of improvement.
